The Quality Inn outside of Yakima was a great hotel. The rooms offered non traditional hotel decor that was a welcome change, there was a large field next to the hotel and lots of space to walk my dogs. I couldn’t have asked for a nicer overnight experience. And the manager was awesome also.

The room was very close to parking, grass for our dog and even provided poop bags, nice roomy room with a hide a bed couch if needed. TV was kinda difficult to figure our the channels up we managed okay. There was a table/desk in the room as well as an office chair and another chair to accommodate seating.

Check in was great. However, when I got to my room it smelled like vomit. Front desk gave me a can of Lysol and a fan and suggested I open the window.

Amazing hotel; impeccable service, staff, accommodations. In town for Softball tournament. Hotel was spacious, clean, offered clean towels/toiletries with out asking. Amazing fitness center, equipment in great condition. Actually had a stabilizer ball, free weights, ability to watch TV if you choose. Couldnt ask for better, rate was great as well. Just 15 minutes from downtown Yakima but pleasantly secluded in a rural suburb, the Selah Quality Inn is a very clean, convenient and affordable place to stay in the Yakima area. The manager, Kumar, greeted us enthusiastically upon check in, his friendliness clearly shows in the pride in which he and his staff take care of this wonderful hotel. The rustic forest lodge decor is very cozy. Breakfast and recreational facilities were great. Its on the edge of Selah, across from the athletic complex and an easy quick drive into town for a bite to eat or groceries. Just 10-15 minutes from downtown Yakima, its well worth the short drive to stay here in the pleasant suburb of Selah rather than crime-infested Yakima.

The staff is friendly and helpful and expedient. The breakfast is terrific, especially for free at a value hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. Cant ask for more.

Within ten minutes of arrival we decided to stay another night. the room was spacious and modern and the carpet felt great on my feet. Kumar the manager made me feel like an important guest the moment we walked in the door.

We were very pleased with the location of this Quality Inn, being near WA Hwy 12, WA Hwy 823, and Interstate 82. Selah, WA is on the east side of Mt Rainier, so exploring White Pass, Chinook Pass, and the various rivers and lakes, is very convenient. The hotel was in a quiet and safe location, had plenty of parking, and the hotel rooms were very spacious and clean. My compliments to housekeeping of this hotel, as the hotel not only looked clean, but smelled very clean. Since this is the Summer of Covid19, we felt this was definitely the cleanest hotel of our entire trip. We were very impressed with the manager, Kumar Khatri, as he exhibited great customer service, making sure we had everything we needed, and was always available for our questions.

We were accused of smoking in our room which we did not. When I confronted the manager, her story changed and it was cause we smoked outside and payed in the bed. Her story changed several times and was not true at all. Being someone that is in the service industry I would NEVER treat one of my customers the way we were treated at this hotel. I will be sure to let everyone we know that not to stay in this motel and to be cations when booking with Choice hotels as well due to the fact I call to complain and nothing was done to get this extremely bitter taste out of our mouth from this stay.

Remarkably clean rooms. Except for hallway noise, rooms here are very quiet. The down comforter is a real treat! Though the hot tub was not working during my last two stays and continental breakfast ends a bit too early for me, I will continue to choose this hotel every time I have business in the area!

Stopped in for a wedding. Staff very friendly and gave info on festivity’s going on. Room clean. We did however get a suit so the kids could watch tv when we wanted to sleep but it was not set up like the pics showed. Couch and tv should have been together. Breakfast was great. Pool area needs to be redone as it has lots of rust and mold on walls. Fixing that would make the hotel 5 stars.

Hotel room was very clean, spacious and thoughtfully laid out. We look for queen beds to best accommodate our large family. Beds/pillows were very comfortable. Also like having the sink outside the bath area, allows multiple people to get ready in the morning at the same time. Big plus having refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker in room. TV/internet service were extensive and reliable. Bonus breakfast, fresh fruit, friendly, attentive staff and a great rate too!

Front desk people were awesome and very accomodating. Room was great (we stayed the same room last year as well). Breakfast was good. Will stay again next year when we come down for any tournaments (or other times as well).

We enjoyed a nice hotel in a very nice place to visit. This will become an exceptional Choice Hotel facility when they are fully integrated in the program AND do some staff training on amenities and host services. Staff was 100% on basic hotel services however no assistance nor materials on places to eat. Also the person at the desk told me the internet has been intermittent for some time. later that night I asked about the hot tub which she said was working, except the jets have not been working. Why teh good review? The facility and rooms are great!

The Quality Inn was decent for the price. Staff were friendly and informative. Pool is open 24-hours which is a bonus. Apples and oranges are available throughout the day, its nice to have something to give the children to hold them over between meals. Breakfast buffet was fair. Cleanliness of the room was decent though the bathtub could use an extra deep clean scrub. Overall, good value for the money.

Truly enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay here again. Love the unique decor that fit in with the town. Everything was clean, fresh, and new. Exercise equipment in the gym was above expectations based on experiences with most hotels.

We stayed here when it was a fairly new independent hotel and were pleasantly surprised at the excellent quality it provided. Since it has become part of the Choice Hotel family, we have stayed here twice. We are still very pleased that nothing has been lost, and it is an amazing value! The Price was good and the rooms were roomy. Breakfast was decent with the sausage patties tasting cheap. There was a crack in my room wall that went about 8 feet that could have fit a pencil through located in the corner of an outside wall. I was pleased to find the hotel clean and not having a musty smell. The Hot tub was great, but could have been hotter.

We stayed at the Selah Quality Inn for a baseball tournament. It was completely full and many were baseball teams. We are a family of five and it was easy to get a rollaway to accommodate our third child. The hotel was clean, the pool warm, and the staff friendly. The location was great, just across from the fields. We used the fridge, microwave, laundry, pool, and the refreshments in the lobby during the day. Definitely worth recommending!

The front desk and housekeeping staff were very accommodating and our team felt welcome. The breakfast had a nice variety. We used the patio tables both nights and it a pleasant place for parents to gather.

Needed a last minute hotel on the road for the holiday weekend, fit the bill perfectly. Fun decor with woodsy theme. My son loved our elk lamp. Breakfast was pretty standard and just fine. Would recommend. Good value.

Stayed only one night but plan to stay longer next year. We started doing Fruit Loop last year as a one day trip. Decided to stay overnight to visit a winery. Room was spacious, clean and had great bed. Plan to expand our stay next year to 3 nights. Front desk staff very charming. Price was excellent!

We really enjoyed having a place to stay in Selah. The amenities are great, pool, breakfast, etc. Its clean, cozy, and comfortable. The lodge feel is attractive and coincides with the area. We have used this hotel, since it was built, for family functions, funerals, receptions, Thanksgiving, etc.

Staff was friendly and free breakfast was ok. Beds were uncomfortable, room smelled like smoke and TV didnt work. It was the only hotel available at the time I needed to book. It wasnt an awful experience but I wouldnt stay there again.

I generally seek out Comfort Inns but none were available this particular trip. This is the nicest Quality Inn Ive stayed in for some time if not for all time. Rooms were clean and well kept as was the lobby and the grounds in general. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The WiFi was a little weak...but tolerable.

Decidimos no infestar otra habitación u hotel y era medianoche, me dijeron que el gerente me llamaría y nos daría la habitación al mediodía.Dos días después llamé al gerente y discutí el problema, me dijo que el ocupante anterior estuvo allí durante 2 semanas sin problemas y que nuestros 2 yorkies debieron haberlos traído. Mi respuesta fue que no tenemos chinches en casa, así que El problema es tu hotel.Soy miembro de Choice Hotel, llamé a la línea de quejas sin devolver la llamada, My Wife llamó al gerente del distrito y no nos ayudaron.Mi solicitud para que la oficina corporativa me llame ha sido ignorada.Nunca volveré a alojarme en un Choice Hotel, pueden tomar mis puntos y rellenarlos.

When you’re staying in Yakima this hotel in Selah is just a few minutes away from Yakima. It’s quiet and very safe.

The Quality Inn, Selah, WA, is a great value: excellent quality at low cost. The location is great; unlike most hotels built within feet of the expressway, this property is away from the major roads. The rooms are quiet and well-appointed; the breakfast variety and quality are first rate. Stay here!

Nice rooms, and good breakfast. I’ve stayed at several other Quality Inns, and this was the best experience I’ve ever had at them. The only slight downside is that the WiFi was not fast enough to allow me to use FaceTime, which I like to use while away from home. I would recommend this to others, especially if the price stays low.

If you like a bed that is excessively firm, then this would be a great hotel for you. For me, the bed was beyond uncomfortable, I was miserable. However, everything else about the hotel was surprisingly great. The room was roomy and decorated in a lodge decor. The complimentary breakfast was plentiful, with lots of variety.

We have stayed in many hotels in the area through out the 12 years, we know which ones to got to and which ones not to go to. We were down to only 3 hotels that I would recommend to people for that area until this last visit. I was hoping for close to the same experience that we had had with our many years of visits before, but unfortunately was not the case. I do got to say though the main staff in check in and kitchen where very friendly and personable. Just very disappointed in the cleanliness and unsanitary condition of the room we were staying in which appeared clean at 1st glance but ended up being the worse of any of the hotels I have stayed in.
